By accessing and using PDFZento (https://pdfzento.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our tools.

2. Permitted Use & Local Processing

PDFZento grants you a revocable, non-exclusive license to use our web-based tools for personal, academic, and commercial PDF manipulation. You retain 100% intellectual property ownership of all documents you process.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent rate-limits, signed entitlement leases, or security controls.
• Transmit malicious scripts, automated bot scrapers, or high-velocity denial-of-service traffic.
• Use server-assisted AI features to generate illegal, harmful, or copyright-infringing content.

4. Free Limits & Future Paid Entitlements

Free usage is subject to daily safety quotas (e.g. 5 local operations, 3 downloads per day, 50MB file size). Future optional paid subscriptions, 24-hour passes, and single-PDF unlocks will provide expanded limits. Billing policies and refund terms will be governed by our designated merchant of record (Lemon Squeezy) upon public payment activation.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

PDFZento is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While our engines use audited cryptographic standards and deterministic WebAssembly compilers, PDFZento is not liable for data loss, document corruption, or consequential damages resulting from user device issues.
